Cosmob S.p.A. is a Technological Centre for the wood and furniture sector and it supports companies in increasing the technical value and the performances of their products.

 

Cosmob operates in several areas:

  • Quality, by carrying on chemical and mechanical laboratory tests on materials and products of the wood and furniture sector;

  • R&D, by participating, at national and international level, at research and innovation project in the field of new materials, domotics, digital prototyping and innovative products (for functionality and design);

  • Internationalization, by participating at cooperation projects aimed at the enhancing of competitiveness of SMEs;

  • Design, by supporting companies in developing innovative, functional and eco-sustainable products;

  • Training, by organizing courses aimed at students, workers and entrepreneurs for the increasing of their technical knowledge;

 

COSMOB is involved in qualification of human resources employed in companies, by creating a broad range of training initiatives aimed to update and enrich their professional, managerial and technical skills. The action is addressed to entrepreneurs, company managers and young people in view of their possible inclusion in a company. In the field of training, COSMOB promotes, through the "High School of Training", courses dedicated to undergraduates, graduates and professionals who want to improve their skills, with particular regard to the design.
